€2.9 MILLION PRICE REDUCTION & CA CHANGE FOR 60.6M FEADSHIP

The 60.6m Feadship motoryacht Kingdom Come, known in particular for its eccentric design and multifarious history, has undergone a central agency change and is now for sale with Cecil Wright & Partners. In doing so, her asking price has been reduced by €2.9 million to €14.95 million.

60.6m Kingdom Come
She was built to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects and, upon her delivery in 1979, was the second largest Feadship on the water. She was commissioned for a scion of the Mercedes Benz dynasty, before being later sold to the Lebanese prime minister, who owned her for over 30 years. He was assassinated in 2005, however the yacht remained in the family until mid-2014 when she was re-sold by Edmiston.
Kingdom Come underwent a substantial refit in 2015 with the whole interior being replaced. The interior woods have been reconditioned – the flooring was formally the flooring of a British bank (as seen below) – and every room has a different theme and colour. The bathrooms, despite featuring upgrades, maintain the original Egyptian marble that has been left in place since the 70s. In addition, there are one-of-a-kind furniture items throughout the interior.
She is able to sleep 18 guests over a nine stateroom layout, which is considerably higher than the 13-guest accommodation offered by the average 57.5m – 62.5m motoryacht on the water.
Extrapolating data from the market’s current listings, a second-hand Feadship in the first few years of its life can be listed with an asking price of up to €70,000 per gross ton and remain between €20,000 - €30,000 as it reaches 30 years old. So at €17,650 per gross ton, and 37 years old, Kingdom Come’s new asking price corresponds to the valuations of other Feadships on the market.
