Stats: 126.2 metres, Lürssen, 2003, 12 guests, 42 crew

The former explorer yacht of Paul Allen was designed to reach the earth’s furthest corners, and she’s got just the right kit for such adventures – including her own marina and a fleet of no less than seven tenders. Guests can enjoy sky-high chopper sightseeing tours launched from either of the two helipads, skim across the waves with her e-foiling toys or dive to the depths with the ROV, Triton submarines and fully-equipped dive centre. After exploring your surroundings, take in a movie in the private cinema, swim some laps in the pool or head to the wellness centre for a spa treatment.

Octopus’ formidable toybox is paired with an ice-class hull so that charter guests will be able to make the most of the remote destinations of Central America, the South Pacific and northern Europe during this summer’s charter season.

Octopus is managed by Camper & Nicholsons with charters starting from $2,200,000 per week.

These newer items joined her pre-existing fleet of SeaBobs, paddleboards and kayaks, alongside her more unusual toys such as a water trampoline. For underwater adventures, Arience carries snorkelling and scuba diving gear, while a beach BBQ kit will come in handy for on-shore beach parties.
