DE VROUWE CHRISTINA was launched in 1957 and is a member of the Feadship Heritage Fleet.
She was built for Crawford and Christine Failey as a copy of a typical Dutch barge, known in The Netherlands as a paviljoen tjalk or spritsail barge with some notable differences, including a keel.
She features exterior styling by De Voogt, and engineering by De Vries Lentsch. She was last refitted in 2017.
