Cecil Wright announce appointment as Central Agent for sale of Feadship, LA MASCARADE

LA MASCARADE

Cecil Wright is delighted to announce their appointment as the Central Agent for the sale of the stunning 30m Feadship, LA MASCARADE, asking £3,950,000.

Built in 1997 for Yorkshire philanthropist and serial yacht owner, Sir Robert Ogden, the brief for LA MASCARADE was to build a 50m yacht in a 30m platform; to fit his 30m berth in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

Having approached all the usual shipyards in the sector he couldn’t quite find what he was looking for, so, to make his dream a reality, he approached the industry’s leading shipyard for custom projects, Feadship. The result is a totally unique yacht in her market segment, unrivalled in terms of quality and finish. She allows those onboard access to areas and anchorages not possible for larger yachts whilst offering the same level of comfort and service.

LA MASCARADE’s original interior design by Terence Disdale features stylish, muted neutral tones and having been regularly updated since her launch, she shows in pristine condition; most recently undergoing 7-month refit period at Pendennis in 2021-2022.

LA MASCARADE has deceptively spacious living and entertaining spaces, allowing guest accommodation for eight across four cabins, with a crew of up to six to ensure the highest level of personal service.

The owner’s suite, located forward on the main deck, has natural light flooding through the large panoramic windows and is decorated in a classic yet contemporary style with a mixture of light wood, leather and fabric panelling with modern features. There are three further guest cabins, one VIP and two doubles, located on the lower deck all decorated in the same sophisticated style as the owner’s suite.

The main salon and interior dining space has also been designed to create a calm, contemporary ambience, offering well-being, warmth, luxury, and comfort. The main deck aft also has a further dining table with fixed seating on the aft side.

One of her main features is the expansive sundeck. Aft of the fly bridge helm station there is a large sofa and coffee table area which can be converted into a spacious sun pad and further aft there is a dining area with two removable tables wrapped by fixed sofas. In addition, a large removable awning can be erected to cover the entire deck.

LA MASCARADE boasts a very large swim platform for a yacht of her size and a myriad of water toys to keep guests of all ages entertained including donuts, wakeboards, water-skis, paddleboards, and snorkelling equipment.

Henry Smith from Cecil Wright, representing the owner, said: “LA MASCARADE has just completed a 7-month refit at Pendennis Shipyard on top of the on-going maintenance and refit programme throughout her life to date. As ever, a Feadship, such as this, represents phenomenal value for any buyer, and we pride ourselves at Cecil Wright as being the experts for sale of the pedigree Northern European yachts from this shipyard.”
