27th of April, 2023 By Emily Dawkins

The Palma International Boat Show (PIBS) and Palma Superyacht Village is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the superyacht calendar. Held annually in the stunning city of Palma de Mallorca, on the Balearic Island of Mallorca, the event brings together superyacht owners, industry professionals, and yachting enthusiasts from around the world to experience the very best in luxury yachting. With today marking the first day of the show, we take a look at what visitors can expect and shine a light on some of the standout vessels in attendance.

Taking place over four days from the 27th of April to the 30th of April in Palma's Moll Vell, the Palma International Boat Show showcases the very best in the latest innovations, trends and products in the yachting world. This year the show welcomes 271 exhibitors and 252 vessels across a total, impressive exhibition area of 81,388 sqm.

Dedicated solely to the world of superyachts, and a highlight of the annual show, is the Palma Superyacht Village. This significant area of the show features a range of stunning superyachts, this year ranging from 24m to 55m in length, as well as a wide range of exhibitors offering a diverse selection of products and services, from high-end electronics and entertainment systems to luxury interiors and bespoke accessories. The specialised 'refit&repair' exhibit will also be making a comeback this year, showcasing more than 20 leading refit and maintenance companies from the region.

A welcome addition to this year's Superyacht Village is the brand-new 'Innovation Corner'. Created by Yachting Venturas, this new space is dedicated to innovation, digitalisation and sustainability initiatives in the industry, intended to promote conversations surrounding 'green' innovations. 12 emerging companies will be exhibiting there to present the latest tech advancements in the sector.

Visitors can explore a range of stunning superyachts on exhibition at the show, from sleek and modern motor yachts to classic sailing yachts, and everything in between. Guests are welcomed to step onboard these magnificent vessels and experience the diversity and craftsmanship of luxury yachting.

In addition to the exhibition, the Palma International Boat Show and Palma Superyacht Village will be hosting a range of events, such as exclusive parties, seminars, and workshops. These events provide an opportunity for superyacht owners and industry professionals to network, learn from experts, and engage with like-minded yachting individuals.

For those looking to purchase or charter a superyacht, the show provides an unparalleled opportunity to view and compare a range of yachts in one location. Visitors can meet with brokers, yacht builders, and designers to discuss their specific requirements and find the perfect superyacht to suit their needs.
