In 1969, two yachts were being built simultaneously at Royal Van Lent: INTENT and PROSIT. Their design demonstrated how yacht use and function was becoming increasingly varied. INTENT (since renamed ALCHEMY, then CETACEA) was intended as a family boat. Particular attention was paid to the layout, furnishings and equipment to ensure a genuine homely feel. In contrast, entertainment was an absolute priority in the PROSIT camp.    Among the attributes requested by her owner were a fishing cockpit complete with stainless steel fish and bait boxes (with their own running water), and two customized fishing chairs.  She has undergone a variety of refits and customizations, such as a stern extension and new swim platform in 1995 along with an extensive $8M refit in 2014.
