The 40-metre Admiral motor yacht Giraud has been sold with Ross Carson of Cecil Wright & Partners representing the seller and Konstantinos Ladas of Capital Yachting introducing the buyer.

Giraud was delivered in 2013 as the first in the yard’s Admiral Impero 40 series, built in aluminium by the Italian Sea Group to a design by Luca Dini.

Accommodation is for 11 guests in five cabins consisting of a master suite with a study, three double cabins and one twin cabin, all with LED television screens, entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities. There are additional quarters for up to nine crew.

The main saloon is equipped with two custom sofas and two armchairs, a coffee table and an entertainment centre including a 46-inch LED television screen and a stereo surround sound system. Forward is a dining table with seating for 10 guests and storage cabinets for glassware, china and cutlery.

The main aft deck is generous and is protected by the upper deck, which offers dining space for up to 14 guests and a relaxed seating area. At the bow of the upper deck, forward of the bridge, is an al fresco relaxation area that offers considerable privacy.

The sundeck of Giraud is completely open, and shaded only in the centre, the site of another al fresco dining area. To the bow is a square six-person Jacuzzi with sun loungers, a bar, ice maker and fridge, and 10 armchairs.

Twin MTU 12V 2000 M94 diesel engines give this 479GT a cruising speed of 14 knots, top speed of 20 knots and a range of 4,950 nautical miles at 10 knots. She is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.

Giraud was asking €12,950,000 with VAT paid.
