Chris Cecil-Wright, one of the superyacht industry’s most respected and successful brokers, has set up a new company, CECIL WRIGHT, which specialises in the sale, charter and new build of luxury yachts. His aim is to establish a business based on extensive knowledge, years of experience, excellent contacts, new analytical technology and the highest levels of personal service and discretion.

Cecil Wright told Yacht Investor. “The volume of retail charter has taken us by surprise! Both London and Monaco offices have been flat out with 60m+ charters as well as the customary last minute enquiries one expects as a new business. I was pleased to complete our first small sales deal along with a berth in Antibes and will now focus on the sale of our three new Central Agencies, the 55m Feadship ISSANA, PROJECT 12 and GLADIUS at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. New build enquiries are beginning to pick up pace and I’m optimistic about two potential projects currently on the drawing board. All in all the insecurities and risks one associates with ‘going it alone’ have been far outweighed by the rewards and the freedom to act on instinct rather than pre-set and in most cases out-dated protocol.”
