Cecil Wright & Partners has announced that they will be co-central agents for the listing of 55.4mTurquoise, alongside Burgess. The owner has also instructed a €4 million price reduction accentuating his desire to sell. She is currently based in Antigua with a new asking price of €24.95 million and is available for inspection upon request.

She was delivered in April 2011 and as her name suggests, she was built by Proteksan Turquoise, now known as Turquoise Yachts. In 2014, award-winning H2 Yacht Design were commissioned to carry out an extensive refit to the sundeck and interior space, whilst Amico made the necessary exterior adjustments.

“I bought Turquoise because I had experienced time on board the original Turquoise”, said the UK-based owner, who despite the good condition of the yacht, realised that a refit would allow her to reach the highest of standards for re-sale and charter.

In addition to being a finalist at the 2012 World Superyacht Awards, her superb refit, which offers an environment of contemporary sophistication, saw Turquoisenominated as a finalist in the refit category of the 2015 World Superyacht Awards.

Designed to provide comfort and performance in equal measure, Turquoise is equipped with Quantam zero speed stabilisers and her 1,500hp Caterpillar engines deliver an effortless cruising speed of 14 knots and a boundless range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

The Superyacht Intelligence Agency’s data shows that all 50m – 60m yachts of a 2010 build or later that have been listed for re-sale since the onset of 2015 have been listed at an average asking price of €27.2 million, so in addition to her worthy pedigree and top quality refit, Turquoise’s asking price now undercuts industry averages.
