Cecil Wright announce appointment as Central Agent for sale of Feadship BG CHARADE

Cecil Wright is delighted to announce their appointment as the Central Agent for the sale of the classic but contemporary 47m Feadship, BG CHARADE.

Built in 1990 by Feadship and once owned by Paul Allen, Co-Founder of Microsoft, BG CHARADE presents in pristine condition today due to extensive and regular refits, most notably in 2015 and 2022 meaning she is primed for a new owner or charter guests to enjoy immediately.

The brief for the 2015 refit was to create a luxury residence akin to a stately Hamptons home or Newport Beach house. The original launch interiors were created by Dale Montgomery and Louis Rey of McMillen and Company of New York but Dee Dee Eustace, founder of the eponymous Taylor Hannah Architect of Toronto, was responsible for the stunning refit. Featuring their signature chic contemporary style in a muted grey and white palate so creating a calm sophisticated ambience with accents of colour via artwork and strategic soft furnishings.

BG CHARADE has six spacious staterooms accommodating twelve guests and a crew of eleven to provide a relaxed and attentive guest experience. The master suite is located on the main deck along with a main multifunctional spacious saloon and dining area, with a further VIP suite on this deck with ensuite featuring a full-size bath. The lower deck has four equal guest cabins also decorated in the same minimalist style.

The upper saloon was reconfigured in the 2015 refit to create a multi-purpose entertaining space, and as all furniture is modular, this can be easily reconfigured for sunbathing, alfresco dining, entertaining with cocktails pre or post dinner, or relaxing with a film which can be viewed via an impressive 102-inch screen deployed from a built-in cabinet. Guests of all ages will be fully occupied during the day by a complete suite of water toys from the massive starboard-mounted climbing wall and water slide to a fleet of wave runners, sea bobs, paddle boards, kayaks and more.
