Classic 42m motor yacht Istros has been sold

The 42.06-metre classic motor yacht Istros sold in Gibraltar after only 57 days on the market. Launched at Amsterdamsche Scheepwerf G. de Vries Lentsch Jr in 1954, the yacht was sold by Henry Smith of Cecil Wright & Partners, who represented the seller, and Cornelius Gerling of Edmiston who represented the buyer.
The classic motor yacht was carefully restored over the last years, now leaving her in as-new condition for her new owner. The restoration originally began in 2013 at De Vries Lentsch but did not resume until after the yacht was sold in 2018. The work was finally concluded to designs by Van Geest Design at Feadship in 2020.
