CECIL WRIGHT LAUNCH TWO NEW CHARTER CENTRAL AGENCIES FOR 2024

Cecil Wright is delighted to welcome two new stunning yachts ready for 2024 charter adventures.

HEAVENLY DAZE is a 32m classic Feadship built in 1972 but refitted in 2011 with a beautiful fresh interior whose recent refinements give her a modern style with ubiquitous guest appeal.

Step on board and you are transported back to the golden age of yachting where stellar fame and fortune from high society, US Presidents and Hollywood actors gathered by invitation only. Launched as ALDEBARAN in 1972 with naval architecture by Feadship de Voogt and exterior design by Studio de Voogt, HEAVENLY DAZE is also part of the prized Feadship Heritage Fleet and her Owner is one of the founders of this cherished fleet.

The 2011 brief to the Dutch design team at Wetzel’s Brown was to respect her heritage by retaining the original classic details whilst updating decorative elements introduced over the years, with the intention of enhancing her timeless style. Reflective of her Owner’s passion, photography is a key interior focus with pieces offering a nod to the vessel’s heritage including: a colour photograph of HM Queen Elizabeth II by Patrick Lichfield on board the Royal Yacht Britannia in March 1972 and colour photographs from the 1960s and 1970s by Slim Aarons capturing ‘attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places’ as Aarons famously once said to describe his practice. There are also several photographs discovered in the Feadship archive of ALDEBARAN, as she was named of her being built, on launch day and at sea immediately after the launch.

HEAVENLY DAZE can accommodate up to 9 guests in 4 cabins with convertible configurations to adapt to guest groups, each cabin decorated in a simple but contemporary style featuring light fabrics and furnishings. An expansive sun deck can be configured as an outdoor gym for a morning HIIT or weights session as well as for a more zen yoga or Pilates class. Post workout there is ample space for stylish teak sun loungers, a sun pad area, and a retractable bimini offering shade when needed in the heat of the day. For evening it transforms to a wonderful venue for a cocktail party and the highly polished mahogany aft deck dining table, which seats up to 8, nestles in the canoe stern, providing a cocoon for al fresco dining.

With all the benefits of 21st century engineering including stabilisers to ensure comfortable cruising and calm stay at anchor HEAVENLY DAZE is a charter dream to be reimagined with manifold visits. Across her interior and exterior decks there are a myriad of spaces for fine dining, relaxed entertaining and daytime leisure. For the active there are water-skis, wakeboards, a paddleboard, kayaks, a banana and floating swim platform. And by nature of her size HEAVENLY DAZE allows for adaptable cruising to discover places inaccessible by larger yachts.

LADY TRUDY is an exquisite 42.6m from the respected bespoke Italian shipbuilder CRN who specialise in building fully custom aluminium and steel and aluminium yachts.

Launched in 2011, she was designed by Zuccon International to an owner’s brief to create an inviting ‘Hamptons style’ beach house interior. The resulting effect is stunning with a fusion of dark woods in contrast to white panelling with a fresh coastal palate complete with window shutters in keeping with the overall beach house decor.

Not only striking in design, LADY TRUDY is also the perfect charter yacht due to her range of exterior and interior living spaces to be similarly enjoyed by multi-generational families as well as adult groups. She is also one of the best yachts for race viewing at the Monaco Grand Prix within the 40m segment and is an incredible yacht for hosting a variety of events due to her vast exterior deck spaces, especially the sun deck which is equal in size to those found on a 50m yacht, complete with an al fresco cocktail bar and comfortable but stylish seating.

She offers guest accommodation for 11 with a master suite on the main deck as well as three VIP cabins and one twin cabin. The full beam master suite is particularly spacious with owner’s private balcony, study, and dressing room as well as his and hers bathrooms. A highly attentive guest experience is guaranteed as she can carry up to 9 crew onboard.

One of her many highlights is a spacious sundeck area perfect for day to evening entertaining, relaxing or for hosting events. There is a large jacuzzi forward and an outdoor cinema that can be set up forward or aft for movies under the stars. Her collection of toys makes her one of the most well-equipped yachts on the market. For the active charter guest, she offers a full-size gym with top of the range equipment in the beach club area, a huge swim platform with an inflatable extension to house the jet skis, plus seas bobs and a wide selection of water toys including a custom inflatable slide which reaches the top deck.

She also comes appropriately equipped with a 5.8m Nauma tender and a SR44 Blackhawk chase boat capable of carrying 16 people, allowing guests to access remote coves and beaches whenever they need.

Both LADY TRUDY and HEAVENLY DAZE are available for booking from today for 2024 charters please contact Ross Carson for LADY TRUDY and Vanessa Buck for HEAVENLY DAZE.
