Happy New Year!! (or not so new anymore!)
2020 has kicked off in Vilamoura, Portugal, with a cracking training camp with the team – Portugal delivers much better conditions for training than the UK at the moment!

Upcoming events...
• Arenal training regatta, Palma, 21-23 Feb
• World Championships, Palma, 18-21 March
• Hyeres regatta, 18-25 April
• European Championships, Hyeres, 4-13 May
It is very exciting times for us at the moment; we are looking forward to the arrival of our new boat!! Very generously sponsored by Cecil Wright; we cannot thank you enough! It will arrive in Palma one month before the Worlds starts so we will be flat out getting her race ready.
We will be heading over to Palma mid-February to start prepping for Worlds, with the Arenal training Regatta as a warm up event, to familiarise ourselves with the venue and the fleet.
This is a critical time for us. Good results at the Worlds and Europeans gives us the opportunity to move up the UK Sport funding ladder and also consolidate our place in the British sailing Team for next year.
What we really need to optimise our performance at these two events is a new set of sails for each. This totals to £4500.
