MADAME GU

I negotiated the contract and managed the build project of this 99 metre masterpiece.  At the time of her delivery in 2013 she was the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands. We worked closely with Andrew Winch on the design elements. The brief was to create a yacht of feminine proportions - graceful and statuesque yet stealthy and fast. She needed to reach speeds of 24 knots whilst incorporating a helipad and hangar, a large swimming pool, nightclub and a cinema screen. It’s difficult to put into words the work that went into MADAM GU’s construction. To this day she’s still of the most talked about yachts.  She broke with convention and heralded a new era in superyacht construction.
